Resin roofing has replaced clay tile, corrugated metal, and fibre cement on a lot of projects over the past decade — not because it’s trendy, but because it solves real problems: weight load on aging structures, noise during heavy rain, corrosion in chemical environments, and the ongoing maintenance cost that comes with traditional materials.

HESU manufactures five distinct resin roofing sheet types, each built around a specific set of project demands. Here’s what each one is, what it’s made for, and where it falls short.

ASA Roofing Sheet

ASA synthetic resin tiles are a high-performance, environmentally friendly roofing material made from ASA, PVC, PMMA, ABS, PETG, PET, PPE, PAP, and other raw materials.

PC Roofing Sheet

ASA synthetic resin tiles are a high-performance, environmentally friendly roofing material made from ASA, PVC, PMMA, ABS, PETG, PET, PPE, PAP, and other raw materials.

UPVC Roofing Sheet

ASA synthetic resin tiles are a high-performance, environmentally friendly roofing material made from ASA, PVC, PMMA, ABS, PETG, PET, PPE, PAP, and other raw materials.

Custom Sheet

ASA synthetic resin tiles are a high-performance, environmentally friendly roofing material made from ASA, PVC, PMMA, ABS, PETG, PET, PPE, PAP, and other raw materials.

All five resin roofing sheet types support customisation in colour, thickness, and cut length. Matching accessories — ridge caps, edge trims, valley pieces — are available across all product lines.

If the application doesn’t fit neatly into one of the five categories above, the HESU sales team can provide samples, detailed specifications, and project-specific quotes.

FAQ - Types of Resin Roofing Sheet

What types of roofing sheet are best for residential homes?

ASA synthetic resin sheet is the most practical residential choice — 30-year lifespan, lower noise than metal, lighter than clay tile, and no ongoing maintenance requirement. Metal roofing and clay tile remain common alternatives, but both carry higher long-term maintenance costs.

ASA synthetic resin sheet is rated for 30+ years. PVC corrugated, antique style, and the other types are typically rated at 20–25 years depending on climate and installation conditions.

PVC corrugated sheet. It’s specifically resistant to acid, alkali, and chemical fumes — the conditions that accelerate corrosion on metal roofing and degrade concrete panels.

Yes. Colour, thickness, and length are all adjustable across the full product range. Matching accessories are available for every profile.

Yes — 80%+ light transmittance supports plant growth, the UV coating protects against crop scorch, and the impact resistance means hail doesn’t create the replacement cycle that glass roofing does.
