Solid PC sheet (1.5mm – 12mm) When strength is the first requirement, solid polycarbonate sheet is the right call. It’s 250 times more impact-resistant than glass at roughly half the weight — meaning hailstones, windborne debris, and falling branches don’t crack it. Architects and contractors use it most for skylights, overhead glazing, and safety barriers where optical clarity and durability have to coexist.
Hollow multiwall PC sheet (4mm – 20mm) The multiwall structure gives this sheet its thermal advantage. Air trapped between the layers acts as insulation, cutting heat gain in summer and reducing heat loss in winter. It’s the standard choice for greenhouse roofing and residential carport covers — lightweight enough for lightweight frames, rigid enough to handle wind load without extra bracing.
Corrugated PC sheet (0.8mm – 3mm) This profile is made to drop straight onto existing roof structures. It matches standard tile profiles, installs with regular roof fixings, and doesn’t require specialist tools. Factory daylighting strips are the most common application — natural light in, weather out, minimal installation complexity.
Specifications and Custom Options
Standard widths are 1220mm and 2100mm, with length cut-to-order so there’s no material waste on non-standard roof dimensions. Seven standard colors are available off the shelf: clear, frosted, blue, green, grey, bronze, and white. Custom colors are available for bulk orders.
