Do not hide a crack under a flashing and assume it has stopped. Mark its end and compare the remaining edge with the required lap or termination. Replace the piece when the defect enters a fixing zone, weathering edge or load-carrying part of the profile.

Cold sheets and hollow profiles need separate handling
